``Amazing place, hospitality and attention to detail. From the second you walk in the door you're in another place - one of luxurious, captivating wonderfulness. The outside world seems dull and lifeless in comparison. If you're thinking about this place, don't, just go.``JAMES LONDON

``We have had a magnificent stay here for three nights, a credit too the hosts. Very clean and warm.

Lots of hot water.

I think the Victorian ambience and detail are not surpassed anywhere.

Breakfast was a epic affair which was a lovely treat.

Can’t rate this venue highly enough.

We look forward to another visit.``

A living work of art!
``From the moment you step through the door, you will be awed by the love, care, and attention to detail that has been put into this Victorian-style B&B. With a full English breakfast each day, beautiful rooms, and roll-top bathtubs, this is the perfect place to relax & unwind by the sea. We can't wait to go back!``

``If you love history, enjoy wonderful details and the kindest of hosts, this place is for you. It may look like you’re walking into a museum, but your not, you’re walking into the most amazing hotel or B&B you’ll ever visit. And it’s alive.
The breakfast was wonderful and so was the garden with its blooming cherry tree. If I’ve ever stayed in someone’s labour of love, this was it.

One of our favourite places to stay in Britain!``

``Truly extraordinary
I don't think I have ever gasped in quite the way we did on entering St Benedict as going to any hotel: we booked on the strength of the other reviews on TripAdvisor, but I still wasn't prepared for the experience of every exquisite detail demanding a story or some close fascination. Stephen and Paul have curated an extraordinary place. It's not quite a living museum, it feels much more like you are going back in time. And also with their gentle kindness and true decency, this feels like very much a break from modern malaise. Stephen went way beyond the call of duty to help us, we were very grateful. Faith in humanity restored in just two nights.``

``A beautiful home and a perfect welcome. We had a very comfortable stay, which felt very luxurious from the fine bone china to the embroidered sheets. Breakfast was outstanding with plenty of choice, including a freshly cooked full english and homemade marmalade. We loved staying at St Benedicts and hope to return.``

``We have visited St Benedict twice now and been completely bowled over by the humble magnificence of the house and generous hospitality of its hosts. We have stayed just as a couple for a quiet winter weekend away and, most recently, took over the whole house and garden with a group of friends for a 40th Birthday banquet in true Victorian style. The whole experience was quite unforgettable and Paul, Stephen and Catherine were so welcoming to us and our guests and made our stay perfect in every way. I'm certain that we'll be back and can't recommend St Benedict highly enough!``

``Stunningly beautiful decor. Such attention to detail of the era, whilst maintaining extremely high levels of comfort and hospitality.

A truly beautiful bedroom, impeccable cleanliness, warm genuine welcome and delicious breakfast. If you appreciate design, interiors and style of another period, the Benedict B&B is an absolute, yet inexpensive, treat!``

``St Bendicts is a B&B that has to be experienced. Photos and reviews just do not do it justice. The whole place is a wonderful recreation of the Victorian era, combined with comfort, good food and excellent, welcoming hosts in Stephen & Paul. In addition to the seaside there is so much to do in the area. On our way we visited Chartwell and Scotney Castle. We must come back because there is still Battle Abbey, Lamb House & Rye, Bodiam Castle and so much more to see in such a lovely part of the south east.?
