Hastings Seafood and Wine Festival

Hastings Old Town Carnival Week takes place from Friday, 31st July 2020 until Sunday, 9th August 2020. A week of exciting events from Pram Racing to Treasure Trails, Open Houses to Walking Tours, Art Shows to Historical Talks, Live Music, Street Parties, all culminating in a Grand Carnival Procession Hastings Old Town Carnival Week takes place from Friday, 31st July 2020 until Sunday, 9th August 2020. A week of exciting events from Pram Racing to Treasure Trails, Open Houses to Walking Tours, Art Shows to Historical Talks, Live Music, Street Parties, all culminating in a Grand Carnival Procession Indulge in a mouth-watering weekend of delicious seafood and luscious wines at this spectacular festival. The festival site and the marquees on The Stade by the historic Net Huts showcase a range of food, wine and themed activities to tempt everyone from wine connoisseurs and seafood sophisticates to those who just enjoy trying something different. Superb live music and street entertainment completes the lively festival atmosphere, making this an unmissable event. The festival is centered around The Stade and Rock-a-Nore Road in the heart of the Old Town, although business across the whole of Hastings join in with special menus and entertainment.

Hastings Old Town Carnival

Hastings Old Town Carnival Week takes place from Friday, 31st July 2020 until Sunday, 9th August 2020. Hastings Beer and Music Festival

Hastings Beer and Music Festival is a four day event organised by Hastings Round Table. Running from the 1st July - 4th. It is the biggest social event in the area, with stunning sea views from it’s elevated venue, The Oval. The event is entirely staffed by volunteers, and as such every single penny (over £1m to date) raised goes to local good causes.

Beatles Day 2020 White Rock Theatre, Hastings

Performance Manager Hannah says, “Hastings Beatles Day 2020 will build on what has gone before, bringing acts together from around the world to perform on multiple stages at the White Rock Theatre; showcasing the music of this world famous and much loved band, in many different styles and with performers of all ages. It is an event that really brings the people of Hastings together, and supports a great local charity as well”.

Hastings Pirate Day Sunday 12 July 2020

The date is set for Sunday 14th July, all over the town. We have held the Guiness World Record for the most pirates in one place since 2013. Since then our friends in Penzance and our Colonial Cousins in the USA have attempted to take it from us, to no avail. Unless the record is broken between now and July 2019 Hastings will not attempt another record. We will still out on the best pirate day atound as befits the Pirate Capital of the World.

Jack in the Green may day festival Hastings

Sunday 3rd MAY 2020, Hastings Old Town The Jack in the Green Festival is an annual event that takes place in various parts of the gorgeous seaside resort that is Hastings. It's a four day event and attracts thousands every year. This is a true British May Day celebration not to be missed. The four day event has been described as 'thee celebration of Morris dancing and traditional merriment, centering on the symbolic figure of Jack in the Green and culminating in a wild costumed parade - one of the most bizarre in Britain.' The long weekend event includes music of all genres from some of the best local and surrounding areas bands, sun, historic and social events, and is filled with family fun.
